Last Tuesday evening, March 19, 2019 at the Moonlight Walk on De Anza Trail 147 people came out in potentially rainy weather. The moon DID show itself, documented by Ron Ober, amateur astronomer. Ron let walkers observe the precious moon, to everyone's delight.

Next year R.E.A.C.H San Benito Parks Foundation & BenitoLink will research another perfect, family friendly, time for a Moonlight Walk!

Thank you to all who shared & participated!

CONTINUING AND FUTURE FOCUS

SAN BENITO COUNTY adopted a new Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan in 2010.  In the Plan is a provision for a new River Parkway and Regional Park.  Our families will have more spaces close to home to go adventure, refresh and play!

THE RIVER PARKWAY

THE RIVER PARKWAY

Will consist of bicycling, equestrian, running, and walking trails in and around San Benito River from Anzar High School in San Juan Bautista to the San Benito County Historical Park south of Tres Pinos.
