GET INVOLVED

A Park is a Gift!  There are many wonderful reasons to join the Foundation in our effort to encourage healthy lifestyles and transform the parks in San Benito County into extraordinary public spaces for all to enjoy...

  • Parks provide vital green spaces that keep our living environment healthy!
  • Well maintained parks increase property value and provide a higher quality of life!
  • The Foundation provides activities for all to enjoy, and participation in the California Coastal Clean-up!
  • With community partners, the Foundation establishes philanthropic efforts that support healthy living and/or sustain both public and private parks and recreation programs, services, and facilities throughout the County of San Benito!

SUPPORT THE PARKS AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS

ENROLL IN MONTHLY GIVING - A Sustaining Donor

A Sustaining Donation is a convenient contribution option that provides stable support to The R.E.A.C.H. San Benito Parks Foundation all year long, and allows you the opportunity to break up your annual contribution into manageable monthly payments. Sustaining Donors give through a monthly credit or debit card payment which automatically renews. Enrolling as a Sustaining Donor makes supporting your Parks Foundation easier than ever!

ONE TIME DONATIONS - Support REACH Foundation

All donations assist and support the Foundation with the accomplishment of its Vision and Mission.  Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated.  I would like to make a one time donation to support the vision and mission of R.E.A.C.H. San Benito Parks Foundation.

ENDOWMENT FUND DONATIONS

An Endowment Fund donation will ensure that the mission and vision of R.E.A.C.H. San Benito Parks Foundation will continue in perpetuity. Gifts on behalf of or in memory of another person can be a rewarding way of remembering and celebrating one's life.  Families and friends often suggest that donations in memory be sent to a charity or cause that he or she supported during their life.  As with all donations, the Foundation will ensure that donations are managed per adopted policy. Donations can be made directly to the R.E.A.C.H. San Benito Foundation Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation for San Benito County.

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” – Chinese

Planting and maintaining trees is vital to creating and enhancing Parks and Trails. Your generous donation will help guarantee that future generations will be able enjoy and benefit from what Joyce Kilmer best described as
A tree that may in summer wear

A nest of robins in her hair

"I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order."-John Burroughs

R.E.A.C.H.San Benito Parks Foundation envisions public trails and greenways being within reach of every home in San Benito County. This vision ensures that:

we connect people with the natural world by enabling those who build, maintain, use, and dream of trails.

we improve the county's quality of life, health, and well-being with trails and greenways used for recreation and transportation.

we invigorate our communities financially by supporting trails that add valuable amenities that spur economic development with business opportunities, tourism, and increased property values

CONTINUING AND FUTURE FOCUS

SAN BENITO COUNTY adopted a new Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan in 2010.

THE RIVER PARKWAY

San Benito River Parkway

In the Plan is a provision for a new River Parkway and Regional Park.  Our families will have more spaces close to home to go adventure, refresh and play!

THE RIVER PARKWAY will consist of bicycling, equestrian, running, and walking trails in and around San Benito River from Anzar High School in San Juan Bautista to the San Benito County Historical Park south of Tres Pinos.

THE REGIONAL PARK is a proposed county sports complex and recreation facility to be located south of the San Benito County High School.

SAN JUAN BAUTISTA'S GENERAL PLAN calls for expanded recreation, cultural, and exercise possibilities that are in the planning process, and we plan to be there to help them "R.E.A.C.H." their goals.

AROMAS, TRES PINOS, AND PAICINES will be kept in the loop as we are made aware of all San Benito County related needs.

R.E.A.C.H. SAN BENITO PARKS FOUNDATION is actively engaged in promoting the projects in the Plans of the whole of San Benito County and its Cities.................HERE! WHERE WE LIVE!!

We gratefully acknowledge those who have sponsored our parks projects with their time or treasure!
